I am sure all little boys want to marry their mom at one time or another but it melted my heart when he said that. At least I have his heart for a little while. Just another reminder of how fast my babies are growing up.

Marriage
So Simon was talking to Isaac about marriage. It has become a topic of discussion for Isaac lately. Isaac is afraid that he will have to go live with a new family & what about us??? So were trying to explain to him that we will always be his family. There will just be more people to love. He does not like this idea at all. He told his dad that he is gonna marry me when he grows up.

Happy 4th Birthday to my 1st born
Thank you Lord for being faithful to us. We did not know what unconditional love truly was until they handed this little guy to us.
He has a heart of gold & is a little on the shy side. But the minute you get past that shyness he is a ball of energy. Trying to be silly all the time. He has self drive. He wanted to be great in all he does. I cannot wait to see what kind of man he becomes.......

Under Construction
It's official. The backyard is officially under construction. Sorry Ruby no more competition on the worlds best weeds. :) Now that Isaac is old enough he wants to play out doors more & his backyard was not the place. Lets just say I would loose him back there. Poor Simon has wanted to fix up the yard for so long now but time had always been against him. Also it can become very expensive very fast. So he got tired the other day & said I don't care it's going to get done. It may not be our dream backyard but it is going to be a place where the kids can play & hang out for now. Isaac had so much fun "helping" his daddy. He came in and told me "my daddy is making me a new backyard". :) Well check back for new pictures as each weekend we will be making progress.

Did I fall off the face of the earth???
Hey everyone.....I know it's been awhile. Well we finally got a new hard drive for the computer, now it's about making time to install it. So check back soon I promise to try my hardest to get it done. So in the mean time I will talk. :) My pregnancy is going well. Only 6 weeks to go! So I am busy getting things washed & organized. You know me everything has to have a place & imagine that with pregnancy hormones! Yeah you get the point. Isaac is good too. Thank God! I know I have not been able to post about it but I will....he was hospitalized in Jan. with R.S.V. it's like phenomena but a virus. So that was a mini trial all on it's own. They said his lungs may be affected in the long run but only time would tell. Now that the season is changing we are noticing the problems. :( He gets a bad cough when he wakes up or when he has been outside for awhile. A breathing treatment fixes him right up. So now our prayer is that in time this will all go away. But so far it's not too bad.
Well I will post some old but new pictures & blog about them soon. So check back but you will have to go back to January because that it where I left off. Til then.........

God will never give you more then you can handle....
Most of you all know that Isaac was very sick but for those of you that do not or don't know the entire story here it goes. Bear with me it's a long one.
Isaac woke up with a runny nose. Then as the day went on it was joined with a slight fever. So I gave him some Motrin to keep the fever down. He was feeling good but the fever would not break. So about the 2nd or 3rd day he stared with a cough that did not sound so good but was not terrible. So Sunday Simon & I took him to urgent care. They told us it was a viral infection & to keep up with what we were already doing.
Well as you all know from an older post I don't have that much faith in urgent care. So I decided to take him to his normal doctor on Monday because his cough only sounded worse. She said at that point Isaac's lungs sounded clear & it was looking like it was a viral infection. So once again I took home a sick child home. By that night he was worse his cough was so bad he could not sleep & all he did was cry. So as soon as his doctor opened on Wednesday morning I called them & brought him in. I was not taking no for a answer as a mom you know when something is wrong & there was no way he was okay. You want to believe the positive but he was way to sick.
As soon as the doctor walked in she said "can you lift his shirt? I want to watch his breathing." As soon as I did that her face changed, literally. So she listened to his lungs & then turned around & told me he can barley breath. It sounds like he may have the bargaining of pnenmonia. To avoid hospitalization she gave him a shot of steroids at her office, then gave him a breathing treatment. She also had a rush order placed for a breathing machine to come to the house so I could keep giving him treatments through the night. She wanted to see us first thing in the morning so she could check on him. She said if he was not better he would have to be hospitalized. As a mom you don't want that for your child. Even though he would get the best treatment in the hospital it was still very hard to hear.
Well Thursday morning I was one of the first ones there & they had bad news. Isaac was not any better so they called into the hospital & let us know that we had to take him directly there. My poor baby had no idea what he was in for. Once we got into his room they pinned him down & put an iv in him. Then they started testing. One test was for a virus called R.S.V. I had never heard of it but I was about to be schooled on it. The nurse told me it mimics the same symptoms as pneumonia & if he did have it he would have to be quarantined. Of course it came back positive. I guess this year they have had an epidemic of this going around. It affects kids from birth to about 2 yrs. The bad thing about it is that most of us will carry the virus on us & never know. In most people it can act like a common cold & nothing more. For some kids they get it but it acts like a virus & nothing more. For other kids it attacks their lungs & they have to be hospitalized. The other bad thing is that when you are the most contagious is 2 to 3 days before even showing signs of being sick & it can live on a surface for up to 48 hrs.
I cannot began to tell you how hard of a time it was for me. I slept at the hospital for the next 5 days. All Isaac did was cry, sleep, or just sit there. All I wanted was my playful monkey back. Since he was quarantine he could not leave his room & all his visitors had to suit up to visit him. It was even harder because Simon had just started a new job so he could not take any time off so I felt so alone. He would work hard all day & they come to the hospital at night & stay til visiting hrs. were over. Thank God for moms! My mom took the first plane out & surprised me. She stayed by my side the entire time. It gave me a break to grab lunch or to run home & take a shower. All of Isaac's visitors helped lift all our spirits. I remember the first day they took us down to ex-ray & I was feeling super down & when we walked back in the room, there was my Tia Angie & Tio Jimmy waiting for us. They stayed for a few hours & that lifted my spirits so much.
Thank God for His healing hand. Isaac is going great & he never wants to go back to the hospital again. It was very cute when he was getting his discharge papers. Simon's Aunts, Katrina & Stephanie had come to visit him. They brought him an Elmo stuffed animal. So he had it & was using it to peek around the corner to the nurses station. They thought it was too cute. They when the doc. gave us the green light my mom & I cheered. Then he ran out to the nurses station & said "yeah Isaac Garcia is going home!"
Thank you everyone who visited him & for those of you who had him on every prayer chain possible. THANK YOU!

So now when Daddy would come Isaac always tried so hard to play & we wanted him to as well. We had to get pretty creative so this is what his dad had him doing........

He fell off the wagon
We have been very successfully potty training Isaac.....well that was until yesterday. For the past two weeks he has been out of diapers with no accidents. Last night we had an eye appointment by our pastors house, so we were also going to visit afterward. Thank God I packed for that! I had an extra pair of sweats & chonies (underwear). For the evening I packed a diaper & P.J.'s. Well I went into my exam, all was great. Then it was Simon's turn, Isaac asked to go to the bathroom a few times so we did. When he asked the 3rd time I realized he was not asking he had already gone! So daddy put him in the car and changed him. Now off to our pastors house. They have 6 kids so Isaac LOVES to hang out with them. Now let me explain something there house is literally 2 min. from the eye doc. As we are pulling onto the street they live off of Isaac lets us know he has to go potty. No he did not have to go, he already DID go, AGAIN! So we had to change him again. I really thought for sure we were out of the woods but I guess not. Well I will keep you all posted on the progress....

Wait a minute......
My husband came home tonight and was teasing me. He asked Isaac who he loved more, me or him? Well Isaac just laughed and went on playing with his toys. The he said to Isaac that he will get him on his side and when the new baby comes he is going to get him on "the boys" team too.
Then it hit me, am I going to loose the little femininity I have now??? My son is a true boy as well is his dad, so then it all made sense. I will loose my girly tv time. I will have all little pee-ers that stand(need I say more)! I am already invaded with boy movies. Boys are generally messy. They play ruff all the time. They have 2 speeds, fast & faster. I love my boys!

The verdict is in and it's a............
Since I found out so late in the game that I was pregnant and already so far along, it seems that I can hardly keep up with this pregnancy. New Years eve was my 18 week check up and with that came the "big ultrasound". This is when they can tell you the sex of the baby. So the score car in our house will now read:
Girls-1
Boys-3!!!!
Yup it's another BOY! Simon is over the moon. I love my boys so much so adding another one to our crazy little circus is the best thing I can think of. To tell you the truth I am a little scared of having a girl. They are so sweet and cute. All the clothes and fun stuff for them is crazy but I think of the hormones and BOYS! My mom was always so fair and new when to let me be free and when to hold back a little. I am afraid that I won't let my daughter out at all and that we will fight every day. Again I just have to leave it in Gods hands, He knows.

Christmas Part 2
Simon's family gets together every year on Christmas eve. This year we all met up at Simon's sisters place for food, fun, and of course the "secret Santa" exchange. All the kids look forward to it all year long and our little man was no exception to this. He made out! Thank you Weatherbee's (Isaac's secret Santa's). I felt like I was a good girl this year too - I had a HUGE pile of gifts from all the family. All you got to do with this family is produce an heir to the thrown and your in for life. :) lol No they love me for me even if I did not give them Isaac..... well I guess it helped. :)
Our prayer for all of you is that God would bless you this coming year and that you all would strive to have a personal relationship with him. Remember "with God ALL things are possible". Our little family is proof of that! Love you all.

Christmas Part 1
Since my mom lives in New Mexico we have made a new tradition. We get together the week before Christmas so that we can all exchange gifts and hang out. I forgot to take pictures but when I did remember it was just in time to see why Isaac had been so quiet. My sis-in-law brought all kinds of treats to make cookies. So the two of them were busy baking.

WOW!
So #10 on my thankful list......I can tell you all now. I was pregnant in May of this year. At 3 1/2 months I lost the baby. It was extremely physically painful for me. Without going into the gory details it was pretty much pre-term labor. Well this happened the last week in August......
Then to my surprise (REALLY!!) I started getting morning sickness and all that good stuff that goes along with being pregnant. I thought maybe my body was acting weird, it just had been through allot you know, so I swept it right out of my mind. At the urging of my hubby I finally took a pregnancy test, really just to get that idea out of his mind. Instantly it turned positive....I was in shock but then quickly tried to rationalize the entire thing out. My body had just gone through quite an ordeal this must be a false reading. So I made an appointment and today I got the shock of my life.
Side note: In between all this I had some spotting so I went to urgent care and they confirmed that I was pregnant but they could not give an accurate due date, I would have to wait for my regular appointment, but all was good.
Not only was I pregnant AGAIN! But I was 4 1/2 months along. I must have gotten pregnant right, RIGHT after my miscarriage. I know I say it allot but God sure works in ways we can never fully understand. With this miscarriage I was very much at peace. It was almost odd. I felt bad for felling so at peace. No one could believe how okay I was. They all thought for sure I was a ball of nerves just waiting to fall apart at a moments notice. The only way I could explain it was that God was over our lives and I trusted what he had for us.
So Baby Garcia is due on May 31, 2009! Thank you God for being faithful to us even when we don't fully understand what or why we are in the trials we are in. Thank you for my little family that at this very moment is growing. :)

Happy Brithday
Today Dominique Micheal Aguiar was born. He came into the world at 9:20 am & was 7 lbs. 14 oz. Even though there is much concern with his Mama, he is healthy and already so loves.
Congratulations Becky & Dom. I know he will grow up to be just like his Pap and adore his Mama.

I come in thirds
This is how I explain myself usually. My other half is Simon, my other, other half is Jessica, and my other, other, other half is Becky! They know me the best & life it so great because of them. So it's been somewhat of an emotional roller coaster since one of my half's is in the hospital. Please pray for Becky that God would touch & heal her body. The news at times had not been good but we are praying for a true miracle. I know the Lord we serve is in control but I have had my moments of weakness.
God I thank you for giving me such a great Friend in Becky. She is my go to person for almost everything. We laugh & sometimes cry together. Please keep your hand over her & baby Dominique. Please get her through this and let us all remember to tell the ones we love that we love them ALL the time.

Thank God for In-Laws
So Sunday I woke up sooo sick. I was not doing so well so I had to cancel babysitting for the next few days. I felt so bad for Isaac because he pretty much had to entertain himself. So when my father in-law called on Wednesday night asking if he could pick up Isaac the next day I was all for it. He loves spending time with them & he spends the night with them on a pretty average basis. It gave me a little break but also it gave him some much needed time to play & get out of the house.
So while he was there I call to see how he was & my sis-in-law wanted to talk :
Rach:So I have to tell you something.
Me: okay what?
Rach: Okay let me say first that it's going to stay at our house.
Me: okay what?
Rach: Guess?
Me: (thinking.....a drum set, something loud???) I don't know what?
Rach: A hamster!
Me: (laughing) What? A hamster. Really?
Rach: yah, instead of going to Target & buying him a toy my dad decided to take him to the pet shop and we got him a hamster.
Me: This kid is too spoiled.
Rach: Guess what he named him?
Me: What?
Rach: Simon
So needless to say that day he got a harmonica & a Hamster (that is going to stay at his Nani & Papa's house). I am so thankful that they love my little guy soooo much. Even if it's a loud toy or something I may not be so thrilled with, I know how much he is adored. What I am really thankful for is the fact that "Simon" will be staying at my in-laws. Now that is love! All I could think was great ANOTHER animal? We already have 2 dogs & for Isaac's birthday he got a pet fish, he named him "Five" by the way. And well you know who gets to take care of them, yup you guessed it, Mommy!
Well thank you guys for spoiling him and giving his so many great childhood memories. We love you Nani, Papa, Tia Rachel, & Auntie Ina.
P.S. I will blog with some pictures as soon as I get to see " Simon".

Maybe he will be a singer????
Isaac knows how to sing "Happy Birthday to you", at home we have to sing to everyone & I mean everyone. It usually takes about a half hour but it's what he loves to do. At his Nina & Nino's they have a karaoke machine that he loves to play with. Well he was singing for everyone & it was too cute. When I thought to record him this was all I got but you kind of get the idea??

Once Again I am so sorry
I have been getting it from all ends. Family & friends have all asked why the heck have I not been keeping up with my blog. I know, I know, I have no excuse I just have not been including it in my day. This is something I love to do but I just have not been making the time for ME! So now I am. So I have allot to catch up on. So you might have to go back awhile because as I upload pictures & remember the date it may be out of order but I promise to TRY to cover all the big & little moments that I can remember or have proof of..... :). So let me try this thing again.

Am I getting thru to him.......
You know as a parent of a boy you have to use different discipline tactics at times. So one that I use is counting to 3, it works but Isaac will wait to "3" to come to me or to listen. Well yesterday he was outside with his daddy & his dogs. All of a sudden Simon comes in laughing & says "you know what your son just did? He told Shug (our Rottweiler) to go outside". We have a doggy door from the garage to the backyard, so I guess he wanted him out. Well Shug was not listening to him so he proceeded to tell him again but this time in a stern voice and then he want on to say..... " 1 - 2- 3". Not sure what was going to happen on "3" but it sure was funny. So I guess I am affecting him, but I also need to make sure I am always loving because he is mimicking EVERYTHING.
