Miss Bella Grace

We were asked before Bella was born to be her godparents. This is a huge honor to us. As parents ourselves, we chose people that we trust our son with. We trust there values, integrity, & spiritual walk. We believe they will have a huge hand in our child's life. They are another set of parents in some ways. So to us this is one of the greatest honors we will ever have in our life. 

Bella is such an amazing child. She is silly, sweet, thoughtful, & always so concerned about everyone else. She is the best cuddlier I know. We love you Bella & are so grateful that we get to see you grow into what the Lord has planned for you.

New Mexico here we come part 2

So while we were out sight seeing we decided to try to find the "Extreme Makeover" house they did in New Mexico. Well we found it & here it is. It was pretty neat up close but we stayed in our car. We did not want to look like complete stalkers.

New Mexico here we come

So we are off. Isaac's 2nd plane ride. He was so good & he loved looking out the window. 

If any of you know my mother, you know that she always keeps things lively. When I was packing she told me that I did not need to bring certain things for Isaac. One thing was a car seat. She wanted us to be able to travel light. I know her intentions were good...... :) So when she picked us up from the airport & we got into the car we found a car seat all right. An INFANT car seat. My son is 19 months!!! It was too funny. So our first stop in New Mexico was the local Wal-Mart.

My Aunts husband was graduating from the masters program. So while were there my family had a party for him. These girls are my heart. I love them so much! I miss them like crazy but they love the home they have made in N.M.

Of course no party is complete without Isaac stealing the show. His favorite song is "Apple Bottom Jeans". He thinks the chorus says "no, no, no, no". All the girls loved his rendition. I know spoken like a true mom, huh? What can I say, I love my kid. 

My birthday wish Part 2

Thank God for good friends. I have the best friends ever! They took me out to dinner for my birthday to Shogun's Sushi. Yum sushi my favorite.

Mother's Day Preview

For Mother's day my mom surprised me with tickets for us to go see her & spend Mother's day with her. We decided to have a pre-mother's day celebration for my mother-in-law & grandmother-in-law. We were going to miss my mother-in-laws birthday so we also had a little birthday party. 

Happy Mother day to all the mothers in my life. God blessed us beyond our comprehension. He chose us to raise His children. I don't know why He chose me but I am so thankful every day that He did. Thank you Lord for the gift you have given me.
