Oh a Pumpkin hunting we will go

Today we met up with Jess, Mike, Bella, and Symph at the pumpkin patch. The kids had a great time looking for pumpkins and getting on the rides. It was a nice time to take in some much needed family time.

These two always manage to steel a kiss from time to time. Last year we got a picture of them kissing so we kept up the tradition.

My niece & nephew are part of the Charter Oak Chargers. My Nephew plays football, while my niece is a cheer leader. We don't always get to go to the games so it was a nice treat to see them in action.

98 years young

Simon's great grandma turned 98. So we all wanted to wish her well. Can you believe it! Thank you God for giving her 98 years of life. Happy birthday Nana!

Go Angels!!!!

As most of you know we are Angel fans all the way. They did not make it as far as we hoped but they still made it far & did a great job. My mother-in-law's company has a family night at Angel Stadium. It was a great time for us to hang out and enjoy the game.
I am sorry I will be adding to this post shortly. There is a picture of all of us but I guess I don't have it. I thought I did but I can't find it. I know my m.i.l. has one so keep checking it will be up soon.

For Beck & Dom's birthday we took them out to dinner to one of our favorite restaurant, Kishi's. Yummmm. The kid were having a great time as we were saying our goodbyes. I could not resist to pull out my camera. They are so cute together. Happy Birthday Beck & Dom! We love you guys.

Thank God for good Friends

So I am sure that most of you all know by now that Simon & I have had somewhat of a trying time in well pretty much everything. I thank God for him & his strength, also for great friends. They all wanted us to have some time away & I think that is what the doctor ordered. So this weekend we headed out to Mike's parents house in AZ. We relaxed & relaxed some more on the river. Isaac was having to much fun with his Nina & Nino. That is he loved throwing rocks. I hope it was not at any people.

This is when we came back. Yup Isaac is knocked out. He had so much fun he fell asleep. So you be the judge which one is cuter????

This too will pass

God has many reasons for the moments in our lives. Some are hard and others are joyous. God has blessed us so much that my heart is full. I thank Him every day for the gift of being a mother to Isaac. God allowed us this great joy and that is what we hold on to at times like these. 

Thank you God for granting us so much mercy. Mercy we do not deserve but are so very thankful for.
